A win for A J Park at the 2011 Asia IP Awards

14 November 2011
A J Park has been named New Zealand's top trade mark firm at the 2011 Asia IP Awards.

At a gala awards ceremony held in Manila, Philippines, on Saturday 11 November, we outclassed four other finalists to win the New Zealand Trade Mark Firm of the Year award. All shortlisted firms were nominated by in-house counsel in Asia and around the world.

“We appreciate this recognition from our clients and in-house counsel,” says Greg Arthur, Managing Partner. “The recognition confirms our reputation as the firm of choice in New Zealand for companies seeking IP expertise and solutions. It represents the long-standing relationships we’ve built with our clients, and the specialist trade mark advice and services we’ve provided to help create global commercial assets.”

The awards ceremony, organised by Asia IP, was attended by partners Anton Blijlevens and Corinne Blumsky, who received the award on behalf of the firm.

The Asia IP Awards are based on an extensive poll of in-house counsel in Asia and the Pacific, North America and Europe, who were asked to nominate the top three law firms in trade marks and patents for each of the jurisdictions with which they are familiar.
